Richard Winson FRICS
Director
I am a chartered surveyor (FRICS) with a specialist knowledge of corporate recovery, real estate lending risk, and project monitoring. In recent years, my focus has been on the development of a range of specialist due-diligence and data analytics platforms – including a machine-learning solution to help predict construction costs and project risk profiling.
After originally training as a contractor’s quantity surveyor, I then studied at Kings College London for an MSc in construction law & dispute resolution, and then undertook further studies in data analytics and data journalism.
I enjoy carrying out training and running development risk workshops, and I have been invited to deliver guest lecture slots at various UK universities – covering construction insolvency, and property development lending risk. Out of work, I enjoy messing around in boats on the South Coast, and I recently rowed in a ‘SuperVets’ crew at the Pilot Gig World Championships on the Isles of Scilly.
