Stuart Sherwood

Stuart is a Quantity Surveyor specialised in Project Monitoring. As part of the project monitoring team, he works closely with our clients to provide initial and ongoing due diligence. Stuart liaises closely with members of the development team, favouring a forward-looking and proactive approach to each role. He is committed to establishing and cultivating long-term working relationships with our partners.

Stuart read Law at The University of York as an undergraduate, before undertaking a postgraduate Master of Science (MSc) in Quantity Surveying at Nottingham Trent University. Stuart found his feet in the industry working in a Midlands-based consultancy practice, before joining Naismiths and returning to Yorkshire, in the Leeds office in early 2019.
Stuart has worked on developments across a number of sectors in the UK, with projects ranging up to contract values of £40m. He is able to provide experienced professional advice to funders and developers. Stuart has managed and administered construction contracts, working closely with development teams to assist in the delivery of successful projects throughout the development lifecycle.

Stuart used to play drums in a band. These days his headbanging is confined to offstage but is very much still alive!
