Gareth Parker

I joined Naismiths from Velo Payments, a Fintech company created by the ex-president of Visa, where I worked as Head of frontend development, leading the team to build multiple international web platforms and mobile applications, serving a variety of banking capabilities and analytics across the world.

Before joining Velo, I worked as Head of frontend development for BAE Systems Applied Intelligence, in the UK defence sector, and led teams on a series of National Digital Security projects. I led the development of big data applications and designed systems for government data scientists. During my time there I worked with Vodafone, Google, Apple and Amazon as a senior consultant on design systems and modern UI development.

I also previously worked in the Aerospace industry as a technical lead developer where I built a platform for RPAS pilots and project portfolio management systems.
